I have the leviton stick with the Leviton RF+ programming software. I have one switch that isnt responding that well. I can control it from the RF+ software but non of the VRCOP's. When I attempt to repair, it is never able to find the node. So I am trying to delete it.  But it doesnt let me.  I tried excluding it from the network, but it cant find it. And when I attempt to remove the failed node, it doesnt work. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Use the EXCLUDE button at the top. Also, devices do not have to be part of your Zwave network to exclude them.

You perform the Exclude function as you would the Include function...  click Exclude, then the status bar at the bottom begins "scrolling"... press a button on the switch (the blue "LED" beside the status bar at the bottom will light up for a second)... and you should get the message that device has been excluded. You will need to have the VRUSB NEAR the device to perform this process.

It's actually common that deadbolts come where they were included into a network at the factory for testing... and you may have to Exclude them first (disassociate any previous network from the lock) prior to enrolling into your network.

I press the exclude button and then press the light switch, but the software doesnt see it. And I am standing two inches away.

Hmm, I'm not sure how to respond. I've excluded a number of devices now and have not had that issue :(

As stated above, I've even excluded devices that were not part of my Zwave network.
