How to use the custom message in the M1?

Probably an id-10t error... I recorded a custom message in VM01, and I can play it using the keypad. But I can't figure out how to use it in ElkRP. It doesn't show up at the end of the list of words/phrases available, and I didn't see it in the automation rules area.

How the heck do I use these things?

Should these show up in the drop down menus for constructing a phrase? I cannot find them.

They show up in mine. automation / voice / pick a message, and I see them in the dropdown in alpha order.... Same thing in zone description.

Custom messages do not appear in the list with Voice Messages (vmxxx). IF you expect this, you are skipping a step. Custom messages are like words. You need to assemble a message first.

My mistake. They show up as 'Custom1', etc. With the single quotes. I didn't realize the post above was including the single quotes, I though he was just quoting them. Doh.
