I have just installed a Hurlcon JX Series pool heater in my pool, and whilst it has its own display, i was hoping to link it up to my access control system and be able to control the on/off and temperature features of it. However it doesn't seem possible, has anyone experienced the same problem? or does anyone know of a solution?

What sort of interface does it have? a serial port?
My heater has a terminal strip for remote switches (typically poolside/spaside) but I connected them to relays on my Elk M1 to allow turning on/off and selecting the hi or low setpoint. It works well, but doesn't allow discrete temp control, only the two setpoints which must be set at the heater.
