Direct from Intel, companies can purchase a Intel Pro 1000 MT desktop PCI adapter for $33, plus tax and free shipping.
This card supports 10/100/1000 megabit networks. Note that in order to use gigabit speeds, either a gigabit hub/switch will be required for 1000 megabit networks, or you could run two gigabit cards directly to eachother with a crossover cable allowing 2 computers to communicate at gigabit speeds.
There are two cards available on this page. The "Intel Pro/1000 MT Desktop Adapter" is the one that you want. The "Pro/100" is NOT the gigabit adapter. If the 1000 MT doesn't show up, then its stock is out for now, and check back later to find it.
