Haiku iPod control via Russound improvements?

First wanted to say that I love the Haiku app so far.

Russound CAV 6.6 with iBridge Dock Kit and hooked up to OmniPro II.

My question is there any plan to improve the controllability of an iPod plugged into a Russound iPod dock?

The Haiku app is great in that it displays the MET Data when I have iPod selected as a source.  I have always hated the way I have to navigate the iPod via a Russound UNO-S2 keypad and Haiku seems to have less iPod control.

I did find an app from these guys, http://www.llamasoftware.net/LlamaPanel_Pro.html
However, this would require the purchase of more connectivity hardware, and I would prefer to do all control in one app.

Any chance of Haiku developing the same kind of functionality as the above app in the future for iPod by tapping on the iPad source in audio to gain better IPod control?

Thanks.

Because of the wide variety of ways that each of these media devices work, its hard to support them all fully. We may try to add further support for the popular devices in the future. Whether its possible with the CAV, I am not sure -- as this information is not offered/exchanged through the serial connection to the OmniPro II. That means that any device that cannot be controlled via Ethernet would need to be wired into a serial to network adapter and likely disconnected from the controller, breaking that integration.

Thanks for the reply, always nice to see good customer support these days.

My non computer programming brain just thought since the OmnPro is able to emulate the Russound UNO-S2 keypad on the Omni Touch 5.7  all of the required data from the iPod was there.

I just hate the way you have to go about changing, playlists and albums on that keypad.

I look forward to the small improvements to the Haiku app in the future.  I am also thinking hard of adding a Mac Mini to the mix so I can add HaikuHelper to the mix.
