Is there a way of hooking up some speakers that are currently connected to a small amp (with a mic) so that they can be used as alarm speakers by the elk?

Not sure exactly what you have in mind, but you can get the Elk's output to line level to be driven through another amp; or depending on the wattage of the existing speakers you may be able to drive them directly off the elk.

Which were you hoping for?

I believe using a line out. These speakers were wired in a room to be used with a mic.

So trying to keep the capability of using the mike but also allowing it to use the elk.

Question: If it is hooked up to the elk, can a system like homeseer pass audio through the elk to it?
