Kissoff Questions

Greetings,
I have an M1gold I will be monitoring myself. I am currently having it dial my cell and work phone, but would like to know how to enter the " Central Station Receiver kissoff (acknowledgement)" from my cell phone. I don't see a setting for it in elkrp.
My old dialer would allow you to simply "dial" a four digit code when you picked up and that would stop it from dialing the rest of the programed numbers.
Thanks for any help.
Michael

It is in voice format. When I answer I can enter my code, but it does not stop it from dialing the rest of the numbers. Pressing # to acknowledge also does not stop it. Do I need to add a rule to allow this and if so where?
thanks,
Michael

To be sure I understand, with the dialer set to voice I should be able to enter my disarm code which will turn off the alarm and deactivate the dialer? the wife and kids are at home so I won't be able to test this for a while as it gets rather loud in the house. :)

You can remove the terminal block with the outputs on it for testing purposes.

Change your cell phone's DTMF tone length typically does make a difference.

Operation of the telephone control is noted in the install manual in appendix B, and is modified slightly within panel programming. I'm unsure off the top of my head about the # entry stopping further dialing, as it's not noted in the documentation, and honestly, I don't use the M1's for self-monitoring applications.

# does not stop further dialing. I tried varying the DTMF tones on the cell and land line to no avail. There is not in the manual, that I've found a "cancel dialing" or kissoff option. I enjoy playing with electronics and work 4 miles from home and through my intranet can see video of the house at work via wifi. As soon as I get the dialer issues worked out I plan to start on home automation. I have noticed in the rules option menu a option in "and -->miscellaneous system-->other-->telephone remote access-->is active" which should allow me to stop further dialing, however I do not see a command or code to do this. Any Suggestions? Note if I cancel the alarm using elkrms to disarm the system it still dials all the numbers in the list.
Thanks
Michael
