Hello,
For my new house I am planning some basic lighting / shades control, my main aim being to minimize the number of switches on the walls.
Where I live (in Europe) KNX is popular, with several companies offering KNX solutions. In my town there are just 2 certified Crestron dealers and 2 that offer Lutron solutions.
Seems like a KNX solution could be cheaper and would offer a greater variety of hardware. Also sinxe KNX is an Open Standard and is supported by many different companies and dealers it could mean that it might be easier for me to get support in the future if something goes wrong.
I tried to search online for comparison between KNX and Lutron / Crestron but I couldn't find much. What could be the benefits of going with Lutron or Crestron instead of KNX?
