Kwikset Zwave Lock Problems

If you Google there was a firmware update that turns the Control Think stick into a VRUSB.  So if you have the Control Think stick, be sure to find the update linked on cocoontech.  I'm not sure if the VRUSB had a firmware update or not.
 
You're problem sounds puzzling if you used the same VRUSB to program a working lock and now it will program a second lock!?!  It's nice of Kwikset to send you a second unit for free.  I'd ebay both of them and buy a Yale from Worthington Distribution
 
However, you might try excluding everything from your network, resetting the stick and update to the latest RF Installer Tool software?
 
PS:  The Kwikset only has a year warranty on the electronics.  What a joke.  So much for me getting a replacement for free.

I'm definitely going to have to check into the Yale locks. I've seen them a number of times, but having really never heard of them before I questioned their quality. I may pick one up to try out... then decide if I want to sell mine
 
I do have the Leviton VRUSB stick, and I too found it odd that I was able to add the first lock but not the second. I may also try updating to the latest version of everything and try again, but honestly not really expecting a change.
