Leviton Vizia+ Dimmer Long Button Press

I have had Leviton Vizia+ dimmers for a very long time. I accidently stumbled across a feature. Maybe I should paid more attention to the manual. If you hold the switch button down for a few seconds, the dimmer will turn on full. In addition, it will still keep its original dim setting.  In a few rooms, I typically keep the lights at middle setting. Occasionally, I need full setting. I still haven’t gotten use to the dimmer rocker. So you have to sit then and hold/press the rocker. I think the new hold for a few seconds is slightly better. Just thought I would pass this on….

If the lights are already on, but dim, this doesn't work, correct?  (i.e., this only works when turning the lights on from off)

Long button press only works with lights OFF. For dimmer level switch, Leviton should have used a different type of micro-switch and along with configurable dimmer levels (who really needs 10 different levels?), Leviton dimmers wouldn’t be so painful to use.

I have grown to really love the paddle action, but have never liked the hard-to-push, small dimmer button. I was happy when I accidently found a way to enable full light levels without touching the dimmer switch.
