Lost net connection to M1

Somehow I've now lost the network connection for my Elk. It has been working fine for a long time but now neither CQC nor the ElkRP can connect to it. I've power cycled both the Elk and the M1EXP but no luck. Any ideas/suggestions on what else to do to get this working again?

Make sure the serial cable is firmly connected to the mainboard. Mine falls out regularly as there's no little screw-in holder thingeys to hold it, and i haven't found any that fit the main board.

With ElkRP, M1XEP setup, try to FIND the M1XEP. If it does not show up, call tech support.

Looks to be a bigger problem. None of my networked devices on the 2nd floor are working corectly. All my Sonos units are offline as well. My one PC up there works fine though so not sure what is going on.

I was going to say that you may just have a hub / switch issue... much to my surprise I have seen a single bad port on an ethernet switch OR a marginal cable go bad... don't assume anything is working correctly and test each point along the route...

Turns out this was due to my removal of a Sonos machine. Apparently my Sonos units were acting as a net bridge. I have no idea why this happening b/c I didn't think the Sonos would do that. When I took the one unit out it was the one that had been hardwired in, so I lost net. I already had a wire in the ELK but didn't have it hooked up. Once I plugged it in to the switch i was all good. Sorry for false alarm.
