For some time now I'm lurking on here, and getting nice idea's.
A complete 1-wire home made weather station is on air.
And this all runs under debian.
Now I'm try to get my kWh meter information (energie usage) working.
The 1wire network is to far from the server an the kWh meter.
So now I look for a parallel port solution. The hardware is allready working, but the software not.
I made a ldr pickup on my kWh meter en cabeling to my debian linux server.
So far so good. But I'm not a c or cc programmer hero.
Perhaps here is sombody who has this working in this way???
