I have been working with RCS on 2 TR40's that apparently the rs485 portion has gone bad on. Unfortunately the newer TCU board revisions do not work with the older TR40 Wall Display Units. I'm stuck trying to figure out how to solve this issue; and how many of the TR40's I need to replace (1, 2, or 3)
One solution RCS indicated was to replace them with TZ45's - but to my understanding the M1G does not support the RCS TZ45 Zwave interface for thermostats - can someone answer that?
Also I've read that some are ordering the 485 comm chips from digikey and swapping them out on the TCU's - anyone have experience with that?
Mike
