M1G energy management

My Elk M1G should arrive this week. Once I have set up my security and lighting, I would like to attempt energy monitoring (and management). Does anyone have any proven solutions for incorporating energy measurements into my new M1G.

I have no issues wiring CTs into my home electrical panels, I wired the whole house in the first place. So, any suggestions and actual parts lists would be appreciated. Low cost is definately desired!!!

Thanks,

The Savoy Software's Cyberhouse had some capability of energy monitoring. It required a PC to do all the math intensive processing.

The Cutler Hammer Home Automation Breaker Panel had CT taps to monitor current draw. That is what Cyberhouse used.

Probably can't find either one anymore.

EHX Show is next week. I will keep my eyes open.
