I am having trouble setting up my M1XZW as a secondary controller.
I enrolled the module and it now appears in ElkRP Enroll/Update Devices window as a Serial Port Expander (Buss Type 5). It is identified as model M1XSP, Hardware Ver 0.2, Bootware Ver 1.01, Firmware Ver 1.016, Standard Firmware.
I am using Home Seer and the Z-Troller as my primary controller. A number appears in the display of the Z-Troller that increments one higher after every failed attempt to make the M1XZW the secondary so I believe there is some type of communication occurring.
I was able to create a secondary controller which is my Leviton RZCPG remote so I know that the Z-Troller is not the problem. I also experimented by making my Leviton remote a primary controller and then tried to make the M1XZW a secondary to the Leviton remote with the same result.
The M1XZW steadily flashes the orange status LED about once per second. It also flashes the red Transmit LED 4 times in very rapid succession, pauses a few seconds, and then repeats.
I expect that when I have successfully made the M1XZW a secondary, my existing network devices will appear under Folder Items / Automation / Lighting but the M1XZW instructions to not state this.
I would appreciate any assistance.
