I have several Apple HomePod mini's and a Google Nest Hub Gen 2. Might have to test this out as well.

However, still a Z-Wave home, need to see some compelling reasons to switch yet.

That's the best part about using something such as Home Assistant. You don't have to feel pressured to switch as you can integrate it all. I think it will be a little bit longer before Matter is robust enough for consumer use. Personally, I'm running UPB, ZigBee and Z-Wave. UPB used to be my primary solution, but majority is Z-Wave now.
