My USB cable is backwards! Can I use an adapter?

OK, smack me silly but when I ran the USB cable in the wall for a monitor, I ran it backwards. I have the wrong end at the monitor (its the thin rectangle end instead of the more square like end at the monitor). Is there an adapter I can use to "flip" this? Its not really that big of a deal since the monitor is on the closet wall of which the PC sits right behind it but I would rather do it the clean way.

I know, I know! Stupid silly mistake. I grounded myself for a week!

cyberguys.com has an array of USB adapters that may help. I'm not sure as I get confused on the "A - B" description with them...
