Need help with window sensors on casement windows.

How are you Cocooners putting window sensors on your casement windows (the kind of windows that crank open)? I don't mind drilling the windows as long as I am not drilling through the outside aluminum cladding on the sash or jamb. Does anyone have tips for installing sensors on this type of window? Any favorite sensor models? Pictures?

There have been a few ideas thrown around before. Simply do a search on 'Casement' and you will get several threads of interest.

Here is a picture of the magnet on mine, the switch is mounted in the recessed area under the wood.

These will work very well if you don't want to do any drilling:

Mount them high and they are hidden if you have any kind of window treatments or the like.
