One of my wireless GE smoke detectors (model 60-848-95, built in Jan. 2002) won't enroll in my M1G or my Simon XT anymore. Batteries are working fine. When I press the Silence/Test button, the LED flashes four times and then the unit chirps three times. According to the manual, this is what it's supposed to do.
Obviously, the smoke detector is getting old. Could the problem be with the magnet?
