- Unoccupied, rural, secluded
- Need smoke and water sensors

I'd go with the Honeywell receiver over the GE unit for the M1, far better variety of RF devices.

I'd second that on the Honeywell wireless devices. Wide variety of sensors and I have found them to be extremely reliable with excellent battery life.

Thanks for your input. I have switched to the Honeywell wireless receiver and 5800PIRs. For video I'm going to try the Aposonic 4 Camera+4 Channel 320GB DVR with Web/Mobile Phone Access. I'm feeling a lot poorer right now so the other sensors and cell phone backup will have to wait.
