Haiku New to Haikuhelper

Hi there just got an omnipro pro 2 installed along with a mac mini for your software.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before (I cant find anything in searches), but I am having errors when viewing the page on any windows machine. It just loads alot of text with no buttons or ways to click on anything. Windows 8.1 and latest phone os.

also im having some trouble understanding how to alter the layout. (Like how to make the pages more compact for a mobile device)I am tech knowledgeable I think my pregnancy is making me go derp haha.

When you go and look at the web pages via a PC does it look OK?
 
If you are good with CSS and AJAX/JSON programming, you can create your own pages.  The "Web" menu in HaikuHelper has a "Show Interfaces Folder" option.  When that finder window opens, you will have at least a Default style.  Copy that entire folder to a new name, say "wp" for windows phone.  Now when you want to access that interface, go to http://address.of.Haiku.Helper:9399/interface/wp and you get your new design.
 
The Help menu has the JSON API PDF that you can use to reference for designing your own pages.

never did Ajax/json but im sure I can figure it out. Thanks a bunch I will try this.

Then this sounds like a bug.  What version are you running?

OK, I would wait for lupinglade to chime in on this one.  If you haven't modified the files yet and the pages aren't loading, then there might be an issue.
 
Have you tried a different web browser on your PC?

Chrome seems to work fine, but ie does not. Which is a problem because that means it does not work on windows phone.

There also seems to be another problem and im trying to figure out where its coming from. So I have a mac mini at my house, which connects to my hai but I also have a second profile running which I use for my parents hai. Mine stays constantly connected but theirs connects only in the beginning (if I restart it) and then is constantly "working". they have a dns as well, which is what I am connecting to. Is it possible their dns sucks or something in their router?

When you watch the log, you will see each controller goes through 5 steps as it synchronizes.  Does the far panel ever complete any of them?

one minute after stage 4, it says connection to controller interrupted
 
edit: I am currently at my parents house trying to connect to their controller (firmware 3.10A) via pc access, which it keeps saying it wont. So I am starting to suspect something wrong with whole setup. Unfortunately since I do not know enough I may have to get the installers that did my house come fix theirs (their installers did such a crappy job)

That does seem like a network issue.

The 4.10 update of HaikuHelper will have a new interface creation system based on AngularJS, its very easy to use and works amazingly well for creating any interface you can imagine with no or almost no code.
