newbie question -- what is dimmable for zwave lighting control?

I am confused. I want to install some track lighting adding it to my existing zwave system. Can someone help and explain what exactly is dimmable by the dimmer wall switches? Seems like most track lighting are low voltage ones with a transformer. Are there specific brands I should use for both lighting and controls?

Thanks

I believe that Visia makes a switch just for this situation. See the Z-Wave Magnetic Low-voltage Dimming Switch (Vizia RF) on the page.

Thanks. I went to a lighting store and they recommended I don't even go low-voltage tracks, it's not worth it, they said. They recommended Lightolier line voltage Alcyon line, which looks pretty nice and not too pricey. Next up, talk to the electrician and see what he knows...
