Newbie Question..

Ok, I am going to have UBP, X10, and Zwave.. Do I need dedicated outlets for these devices or can I run them all on a power strip?

Thanks

If you're talking about putting the CIM's on a power strip then you can, just make sure it's not a surge protector type. If you use a surge protector strip it will cut down on the signal that gets to your powerline or knock it off altogether

UPB, Z-Wave are less likely to have issues but X10 is very picky about the quality of the powerline connection. I would plug this interface into a wall outlet if possible.

I agree. Of course, your mileage might vary. In my last house, I could NOT use a Belkin power strip with X10, but my APC one was fine.

I am using a Ti-103, and my spare is a CM11A with an XTB (X10 Booster).

I am using separate circuits / multiple outlet gang boxes adjacent to the fuse panel.

As Dan above I am using an XTB for one of two X10 controllers. (1 X10, 1 Combo Insteon/X10, 1 Z-Wave, 2 UPB)
