NorthQ/Schlage link cameras

I grab one of these cameras that were on clearance at radio shack and am just now getting it setup.

Has anyone successfully set them up with zoneminder? If so what settings are you using? Http or RTSP? address and port numbers? I have tried all sorts of combinations and can't get it to work.

I don't have a lot of experience with these other than watching them go by... but did you get rid of the schlage firmware and get the other firmware on it?

Works fine using the following for Zoneminder.

yep, got the old firmware off and its "unlocked"

do you mean "ipaddress/img/mjpeg.cgi", I get the video in a web browser but it doesn't show up in zoneminder.

edit: Looks like that link doesn't work on my debian install that zone minder is on.

I have the ZM Ubuntu build documented on the HS forum. Its a step by step with some mods. Have a look at the mods to the build. It shouldn't be an issue to add them to your debian install.

Is it in the thread you linked to above? If so I spaced over it when browsing through. Is there a specific post that your referring to?

apt-get -y install libavcodec-extra-52 libavformat-extra-52 libswscale-extra-0 libavfilter-extra-1

Read through the post and have a look at the script that I used to build ZM.

The updated ZM build has fixed many issues with this build so I would use that instead. (RTSP for one).
