Nuvo Grand Concerto/Concerto Control Pads on the same Wall plate as switches

I have talked with my electrician and he said it is no problem to get "smart boxes" that allow high voltage and low voltage wires in the same box on the wall, so now my only question is size. Does anyone know if I can install Nuvo Concerto/Grand Concerto control pads in the same wall plate as my decora style switches? I know I might have to cut the devider between the 2 holes on the 4 hole wall plate to make the opening big enough, but I dont have a control pad to see if it will work.

Anyone know?

The GC control pad is a little bigger than a switch. I don't think it would work well in a 4 gang box with other switches. They are designed to go in their own 2 gang box or simple mudring. The other big thing to consider is height. There's no way I would put my keypads at the height of switches unless we were severely height challenged. The GC keypads should be a little closer to eye level. Mine are directly above the switches about 6-8" and look fine imho.

If you decide to put them in the same box as the switches you will have to dremel off the tops and bottoms of the keypad to fit an ordinary cover. The nuvo pads are made to hold on to their own screwless covers.

I'm stuck installing many of my GC keypads at switch level, replacing existing in-wall volume controls.

I'll move them up to eye level when it comes time to repaint each room. Fortunately/unfortunately, several rooms need repainting. Three will be moved when the kitchen is remodeled (wife said 'this fall' a couple months ago - I'm guessing next summer :)).
