nx-1700e progamming

my first time installing the nx-1700e reader on a nx-6v2. i am unable to enter user codes to exept the smart fobs. the 3 digit user # doesn't seem to be in the right programming mode. any help?

having been persistent, i was able to figure out it was asking for 3 digit user id which seemed confusing having been in 2 digit mode :unsure:
