OMNI Pro II Landscape Lighting Control

I have just finished my first Omni Pro II install and want to automate my landscape lighting, but do not know where to start. Does anyone have a wiring diagram on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

What lighting method are you using? I am using UPB and my lanscape lights (low voltage transformer not yet installed) will be controlled by a UPB appliance module which I can control via my Omni just like any other light.

The landscape lighting is in the planning phase as of this moment. I am thinking about using a load control module for the transformer, but that seems a little excessive. Perhaps I could switch the load with an 800Watt switch from the CentraLite JetStream system which I am currently installing.

Thanks Again!

You can use the UPB modules no matter what you choose to do for the rest of your lighting solution. There are a nunber of LV solutions out there that use a transformer box that has provisions for you to install a "timer" internal to the box. Instead of a timer, you just use a UPB module that can be controlled by your Omni

I have three commercial landscape transformers in the house connected to three separate powerline switches. I just finished helping my sister do the same wiring two commercial landscape transformers in her basement adjacent to the fuse panel. I decided to put them into the basement instead of outside because historically (in my old home) both commerical / for home use styles wouldn't weather too good in the MW after a couple of years.

My OmniPro II panel and HA system manage the low voltage lighting.

I have an outside outlet that is controlled by a HLC(UPB) 15A relay switch. I added a couple of program lines to the Omni to turn the switch on/off at sunset/sunrise. The switch is located by the front door along with the soffit lights, so I could manually control them. I don't remember the last time I actually used the switch...

The beauty of this solution is that the switch and the outlet can be located anywhere and it is cheap. If 15A is not enough, or you have multiple landscape areas that you want to control separately you can have multiple circuits.

I use the same technique for an outlet that I put up in the soffit behind a column. I use this one to control the Christmas lights.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to post a reply!
I will keep everyone updated once I have everything installed.

Thanks!
