OmniPro II Six Consoles, Six Speakers, Six Microphones

Up front, I don't know much about handling audio.

Our OmniPro II system will have six 33A00-4 consoles with Speaker/Microphone in two buildings, four consoles in the house and two more in the shop about 100 feet away.

We want to have all six speakers and microphones fully functional. The speaker and microphone cabling must be underground so that may be an issue.

The 10A11 two way voice board only supports two speakers and two microphones.

What would be a good way to do this? We are not using the OmniPro for whole house entertainment systems so there will be no other speakers involved.

I was thinking a six channel microphone multiplexer and a six channel PA amp might do the job, but if there is a cheaper and/or simpler solution it would be nice.

More informed ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Probably best to go digital and use the network for this and software with HAI connectivity.

Here many years ago went to using Homeseer and Microsoft SAPI for text to speech and VR in house.
Today you can utilize the cloud if you want.

Mostly probably because I wanted to utilize multiple speech fonts.  You can mix the HAI stuff with Homeseer stuff today.

Such that I have HAI OmniTouch pro running on a tabletop tablet along with the agent that talks SAPI and does VR from Homeseer.

There is a plugin I am running in Homeseer that talks to the OmniPro 2 panel and allows for the use of TTS / VR.

IE: utilize this for any hard wired zones status or alarm status stuff.

The front door doorbell/PIR/CCTV is connected to both the OmniPro 2 panel and Homeseer.

As a person walks up to the front door on the walk or drives up the driveway I hear TTS based on hard wired sensors to the OmniPro 2 panel.

I have different TTS voice fonts depending on their job?

I have one voice font dedicated to the garage status, another one for alarm status, et al.  Mix in english and other languages to bug wife.  (voice fonts talk US english, UK english, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, et al).

I'd prefer not to use a separate computer, software, and cloud to over complicate this.

The normal speech from Omni is fine with me.

Previously I have used an amp to support more console speakers but I did not use the microphones. This time I'd like to be able to listen in.

Understood.

Yes you can most likely take the microphone stuff to a multiple input mixing board of sorts analog wise.  Another thing you can do is utilize your home telephones and talk to the panel that way maybe?  Never tried it here.  I know the telephone button presses worked fine.
