I've been using an RC-1000 with the Elk M1XSP for years with no issues. I just upgraded my HVAC system and purchased a newer RC-2000 for the dual stage cooling. I CANNOT get the RC-2000 to coomunicate with the Elk.
I've also noticed that Elk has removed the Omnistat from the M1XSP manual. I've tried setting the omnistat to communicate on all baud speeds, I also noticed there are 2 baud speed settings, not sure if that was in my RC1000, system and remote baud? Has something changed with the way the M1XSP communicates with Omnistat? Any suggestions?
