The Omni usually keeps pretty good time but there a few things to look at:
- Do you have Web-Link or WL3. Both of these applications reset the Omni time daily. The assumption is that since most PCs sync their time to some atomic clock across the internet they probably have better time than the Omni. If you have one of these products make sure the time on that PC is correct (including Time Zone).
- There is a Clock Adjust setting under Miscellaneous Settings in PC Access. The default is 30. You can try increasing or decreasing it by 1 to adjust for drift. In your case I don't think this is the problem because a hour a day, for that matter an hour a year, would be a lot of drift.
- Any other third party apps the "correct" the Omni time?
As far as your thermostat issues I spoke to the engineer that designed the thermostat and he is going to reply to you separately.
