I am about to install an OnQ door unit intercom. According to the instruction, the gang box needs to be rough into the brick. However, my house is a completed building. Is it still possible to chip out the bricks so that I can bury the gang box or is there any gang box that I can install externally on the brick right by the door which can withstand any weather condition. If anyone is suggesting on brick gangbox, please give me a name and brand. I need something that when it rain or snow, it wont' leak into the gang box. Thanks y'all

Hi,
I also had a the same situation and used a surface mount box from On-Q. I would not recess the box at this point in time.

Have anyone tried to install the OnQ door unit in such a way that if someone presses the bell, it will switch all tv to a channel and project the image on the all tv that were turned on at that particular moment?
