Panasonic BL-C140A Cheap Outdoor Camera

From another thread this model camera came up in discussion. I went ahead & got one, installed it and like it fairly well. Not the highest resolution, but good enough for my needs. We might be adding a couple of more. Not having any "real" software yet, I am wondering if anyone who is in the know can tell if the specs of this camera will preclude it from being used with software. I have no idea what software I'll end up with - just want to make sure there is no glaring lack of "spec / feature" that this camera is missing...
This link shows some specs

older Linux stuff? Zoneminder isn't some abandoned project  WebCamXP is definitely a good choice as well :)

Thanks guys -
Sounds like I will be ending up with maybe 3 more of these cams for my fall projects. I had tried the zoneminder linux distro in the past with my toshiba IP cams and had no luck - but in fairness (unless they recently updated) that distro was some years old...
