Have any of you guys ever had a case where you had to have some exposed wiring for a motion detector? Any tips or tricks?

It is quite common to have exposed wires especially in a corner on a deep sloped roof where you can't drill up. Here is one solution http://www.wiremold.com/www/consumer/index.asp. Good luck.
