Placement of heat detectors in garage

Attic would be a 194 typically. Finished garage space would most likely be a 135 unless extenuating circumstances were present.

Put it this way...I have a story and a half garage that my main house attic exhausts air into (heating it up significantly) and even on 100+ degree days, full blazing sun and attic heat, my 135's don't false. I have 194's in the attic of the space.

this garage is not insulated. so I would assume 194? in DC
