So I would like to add an extension to my deck, and was hoping to find software which could help me calculate how much wood I need to order. I have the layout in Sketchup, and that's as far as I am getting. There only seems to be 1 'ok' online deck designer out there (Lowes uses the same system), but it has so many restrictions, it is useless. I looked at the Punch website to see what they offer, but they don't see to offer trial versions of their Deck design software. While I can (and will) calculate this manually, I want to make sure I don't miss anything, since I have to get the materials delivered, all in 1 order.
