powering master hub from lcd driver board

I have a LCD driver board that I power directly with the 15V transformer. I leave the jumper in place on the LCD board. I then run a RJ45 cable to my master hub. I left the two jumpers on the master hub. This allows power from the LCD board to power the master hub and the 1-wire network.
Will this arrangement work long-term? I would like to avoid another wall wart if I can.

Does your LCD driver board and your master hub support PoE (Power over Ethernet)?

No, since these are not ethernet jacks, but 1-wire network. According to the schematics, the jacks can have +5V regulated and +12V unregulated on different pins. The jacks are similar but the signals on the pins are completely different.
