Powerlinc USB gone deaf

Has anyone else seen a Powerlinc USB go deaf? It will send X10 commands but not receive any.

Have you guys tried moving the PowerLinc as a test to another machine to see if it works. The USB protocol is flaky at best and if you PC under powers your USB connections you will have all kinds of problems. Also do you have another USB device plugged into the same root hub?
