Premise Premise Z-Wave support?

Motorola Premise
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but this thread is the closest discussion related to my question......

If I read above correctly, Premise does not have USB control and that requires a VRC0Pv3 type controller since it is serial? (i.e. I can not control Z-wave devices through Premise via my Think Essentials USB Stick? I have a dedicated PC I will use for Premise and want to limit additional hardware - No ELK, HAI etc...)

Thanks,

Carl

Correct. The best recommendation is to update the firmware on the ThinkStick and use the free Leviton RF Installer Tool from a laptop and be sure to move around as the devices are discovered. Search cocoontech for the firmware version to use for the USB stick and be sure to also update the firmware on the VRC0Pv3 from Leviton's site.

Afterwards, you don't need to leave the USB stick plugged in at all, just the VRC0Pv3.
