Problem with motion detector

I have a wireless PIR in my living room. If my system is armed in away mode and I enter through the garage door, the dor transmitter starts the alarm countdown, I start walking to the keypad and the PIR immediately trips the alarm.
How can I prevent this so that I can disarm without tripping the alarm via motion detection immediately?
Thanks in advance

Set the zone type as an Exit/Entry follower. This way if you are in entry or exit delay the detector will not trip the alarm.

This is assuming that you have the door as an Entry door to start the entry delay.

I think that worked. I set the PIR to Burglar Interior follower. I think that should work. Thanks a lot.
