RC-2000's running system when they shouldn't be?

I've been noticing lately that my A/C is running even when the temp is below the cool setpoint. I verified it this morning when I woke up and the system was cooling the upstairs when the setpoint was 73 and the current temp was 71.
I just realized it a few days ago when I saw the same thing happening downstairs, setpoint was 75, current temp was 73 but system was cooling.
Any one have any reasons why this would be happening that are legit?? (meaning maybe there's a reason it's supposed to do this). Figured I'd ask before I go tearing things apart to troubleshoot.
Thanks!

I leave mine set to 72 (hold - WAF) and it does similiar depending on the EEC/Cool Anticipator settings. (I am no expert though with the Omnistat).

The anticipator logic is probably the right answer.
It learns the heating/cooling curves of your particular building.
If the fan is running after a cooling and heating period, it may just be performing the duct purge function.
