Is there any way i can get webcontrol to receive x10 single from a window or door senser?

I know i can put a wired switch on door or window but it is to hard running wires in house, want to make then wireless

Thanks for the question. We currently don't have anyway to receive RF signals from sensors directly, either from X10 or other brand.  However, if you have X10 RF receiver, you could wire from receiver to the WebControl input pin.   Similar to connect WebControl to existing wired alarm panels, you could tap into the receiver to get the door and window status.

It looks although X10 RF sensor and receiver could work, this GE RF receiver (Interlogix Quik Bridge 2-Channel Receiver) could work with wider range GE door sensor or other RF sensors:

Those GE RF door sensor (NX-454) and RF motion sensor is about same price as X10 sensor.  I wish X10 making similar products, that will have bigger market than selling whole system.

Thanks for the suggestion. That WGL Design's W800 is an very interesting product http://www.wgldesigns.com/w800.html.
On the WebControl8, there is no serial port can be used. We do not plan to change its hardware to add serial port suppose simply because there is no code space to add more functions.
On the upcoming WebControl32, there will be serial port(s), but adding support to that will require additional coding. If there is code we can use for supporting that device, we can take a look.

We had original planned serial port on it, however, we removed it from 2nd gen board, due to there is no code space to implement that support.
Don't feel bad, we do appreciate all suggestions. We will take a look when we working on adding feature to the 32bit board.
