Well, my M1G serial connector died. I'm wondering do I replace the board, upgrade the board or transition to a WIFI/Z-wave based system such as Ring.
My biggest hesitation has losing all my wired sensors but learned Ring has a retrofit.
Allows 8 wired zones to join the Ring alarm, communicates to the Ring base unit by ZWave. Multiple Retrofits can be added for additional zones.
Does anyone have any experience with this Ring module?
