RJ31X jack and Vista20p

Hi all,

So I got my vista 20p up and running. Very happy about that and I am now about to set up the RJ31X jack.

Luckily the wiring was already there and tied into my phone line for the actual jack. Now all I need to do is plug the phone chord into the RJ31 box and connect the remaining wires to my vista panel. This is where my question comes in.

There are 8 wires (red, green, yellow, gray, brown, black, orange, blue). I believe green goes to 23 and red goes to 24 on the panel. What color connects to 21 and 22 on the panel. In the installation manual it just says "tip" for 21 and "ring" for 22.

From the hard right to the left, can't remember terminal #'s

(Earth ground), red, green, grey, brown.

Tip is green, red is ring. For those of you who like useless trivia, if you have ever seen the old time operator connect a call via moving and inserting a plug. The "tip" of the plug is green and the "ring" is the metal band after insulator that red connects to.
