Russound Dim-1 work with omnipro2?

Can I use the trigger output on the Dim-1 to trigger a zone on the omnipro2 to notify it when the doorbell is pressed? Also, I have a Ring Pro, though I'm not sure that would matter.

Reading the manual of the Russound DIM-1 it appears that the trigger out is 12VDC which connects to the Russound mute trigger which needs 12VDC.
 
Therefore you would want to connect a 12VDC relay to do a NC/NO connection to the OmniPro 2 panel.  This is a guesstimate as I have two Russound zoned amps and do not mute them via a 12VDC trigger or DIM-1. 
 
Personally I would redo the Doorbell stuff to utilize the Elk 960/930 combo to trigger a zone on the OmniPro 2 to trigger a 12VDC out to the DIM-1 connected to the Russound amps.
