SageTV server?

This may have been discussed somewhere else, but I havent been able to locate the answer/opinions.

I am looking at building a PC for Sage now and would like to have it completely setup (structured wiring enclosure, antenna, HDHRs, HD-PVR, etc.) by the end of OCT. I was originally looking at also using a GeoVision CCTV DVR card for analog security cameras. I just took a good look at the AVerMedia NV5000 and really like its ability to add the additional 4-port module as well as being able to easily add a second card for up to 16 cameras (no way I would ever have 16 cams, but I like the flexibility). My current issue is trying to decide whether to build two separate PCs (likely each a Core 2 Duo processor) or to run Sage and the NV5000 on the same pc (likely a Core 2 Quad processor). I am planning to have a ~80GB HDD for OS, a minimum of (1) 2TB drive for Sage, and a minimum of (1) 1TB drive for CCTV. I would be doing some form of RAID on the Sage drive - losing a large amount (to me ~150-200 movies) of ripped DVD/BD movies would not be cool ;) If a single PC would handle both, I would also highly consider dual GB NIC cards.

NOTE: I am planning to only run to HD Extenders to every TV. So no need for the PC to do added work of encoding/decoding for displaying the video. Also, as mentioned above, I will be using HDHomeruns and HD-PVR for bringing the video into the Sage server rather than internal tuner cards in the PC.

Opinions please...

:-\ So I found another thread where I apparently brought this up in the July time frame. There werent any answers as to anyone having done it before (Sage and NV5000 on the same machine). So I guess this is simply a matter of asking the question again in hopes that someone has done it by now ;)

I haven't tried it, but my gut feeling is no. Generally speaking, TV tuner cards and CCTV tuner cards don't play well together.

So there will be no TV tuner cards installed in the PC/Server.
