So I looked at my Direct TV bill. Base is $60.49.
It shows $6/month for every receiver that I own and $7/month for every legacy Direct Tivo.
Curious what you are paying for your HD base and receivers?
I helped a friend who had been using Tivo with his Comcast setup. When he saw his optimal way to change was to convert to the Comcast HD DVR methodology; additional charges for HD; he basically told them to take a hike.
In FL I've already told Verizon off as their base started at $99 2 years ago for Internet, TV and Telephone and I am now at $170 there and considering going back to the old al la carte DirectTV and maybe just using FIOS for internet and telephone or totally switching to Comcast there.
Guess too last night was channel surfing a bit after watching a movie on PlayOn TV and it appeared to me that I was watching HD content; which is the first time I've seen this on my PlayOn setup.
