See the INSTEON-Compatible RemoteLinc In Action

Yeah - touting the velcro as a "feature" is a bit cheesey. Without a wall bracket (and in my eyes), this doesn't look like a good wall-mount device. Anyone that DID want to mount it to their wall in the garage or something similar would probably consider velcro without it being shown in the video.

Maybe as a single guy 10 years ago I might have used velcro on my living room wall, but not now.. ;)

On the other hand I think the remote looked much better on video than in still shots. I had heard this reported from people who saw it in action. I still want a more modern looking remote, and please - no "All Off/All On" buttons. Give us something that we can personalize 100%, like a KeypadLinc.

PS - My god I can't believe how big the ControlLinc is! From pictures I have seen, I thought it would be just a bit larger than an X10 Palm Pad remote!

I actually use velcro for my PalmPad remote in my garage. It controls my sprinklers and I frequently take it from the wall when troubleshooting the system.

In the garage fine............... your living room?
I have used velcro in my living room to mount motion sensors. You usually can't tell it's velcro. Just be careful if you ever try to remove the velcro strip from the wall, it tends to damage the paint.

I am ok with that.....since you dont take the motion down and leave the velcro on the wall. You can only hope they edit the velcro out before they post that video on the net.

I guess the are not into making brackets at SH/SL. Then again they need one for the controlinc first or or they will hurt Upstatemike's feelings..... JK Mike ;)
