Serious Concern - ELK M1 Not logging/calling

I have a serious concern about my Elk M1 configuration.

After conpleting the install of the system in November and completing test with the monitoring company, I thought things were find.

But, yesterday, we have the alarm go off in the house due to a smoking pot on the stove (no problem, all is well!).

However, after checking the Elk log this morning, I had no log footprint that the smoke or heat alart was triggered.

Any ideas regarding there the disconnect may be?

Good Question.

I was not home at the time but my wife was. Unfortunately, she was not focused on where the alarm sound was coming from, just getting the pot under control. I guess I need to establish a test.

The smoke is configured as "10= Fire Alarm" and type=5 Fire/4 wire smoke/rf. It is a Honeywell wireless.

Maybe the configuration for the smoke is not set right. Have you tested it and sent signals to the monitoring company? (I mean in addition to the burglar sugnals).

I recommend you call the monitoring company, put the system on test and test it. Check all your configuration settings.

Sounds like the smoke is going off, but not sending signals, or even being recognized in the ELK as a smoke alarm.
