Smoke Detector False Triggers

I have one Smoke Detector (120VAC wired with battery - not part of the Leviton HAI OPII smoke zones) which triggered last night making all of the rest of the smoke detectors trip.

By chance (at random) I checked one in the second floor hallway.  Removing it from the bracket and disconnecting I noticed it was very wet; with water dripping out of it as I removed it.

The inside of the can that it was mounted to was not wet.

Many years ago same smoke did false trigger and I did find water inside of the can and on the smoke detector.  In the attic space the electrical box was insulated.  I insulated the box some more and haven't had an issue in some 7 or so years.

The humidifier in the house is set to some 35%.  There is no moisture on any of the windows in the house.

Has anyone ever noticed an issue like this with a smoke detector mounted to a can with the can being in the attic of the home?

The temperature change is going to cause the humidity in the air to condense especially if you get past the dew point. Most electrical boxes aren't sealed too well to environmental.
