Smoke detector warning

I was reading the PDF for my ESL 541C smoke detector and this warning gave me quite a chuckle. It may have been the margaritas.

Maybe they have a subsidiary that sells life insurance.

I just bought some LCD displays from Crystalfontz to integrate with my HA system. One of the warnings on their docs is "Do not Eat." Granted, that was in the section of what to do if it breaks/cracks, but still......
